Day 3

FARWELL HARROGATE, HELLO EDINBURGH

DAY: Sunday

LOCATION: Harrogate

TIME: 08:30

WEATHER: 12-13 degrees, windy

Woke up early to a spot of breakfast in the same restaurant before setting off.

Its like waking up to big breakfast.

What are you trying to say?

Its early in the morning. Rather empty on the streets.

Twinny, this house would be so suitable for you. Strawberry house. Lol.

Some of the pretty flowers from the houses around Harrogate.

Durham

TIME to Durham: 1hr30mins

WEATHER: 12-13 degrees, unbelievably cold; brrrrrr; I feel cold, shivering cold.

Reached Durham a bit too early for shopping but once again visited a Cathedral. It was a Sunday and there were services in progress.

Its too early for shopping, the streets are empty

left right left right left right left right left right

SQUAD, ATTENTION!

Far away from the cathedral

Still a bit far, but not as far

Look at the empty street, its just too early, and the shops aren't even open

So what to do? Go see the river lor.

Haha, i think none of you are suprised. But is coconut flavour.

The medieval bridge from a distance

Left Durham to head towards Edinburgh, the capital of Scotland, bet you didn’t know that, bet you thought it was Glasgow, but its not. Hahahah. Made several stops for pictures.

Hadrian's Wall

It was SOOOO COLDDDD at that point, and i forgot to bring down my jacket. But tahan a while for some pics with rocks.

Rocky Leo, hahahahaha

The information of Hadrian's wall

The road was so so hilly, up and down, down and up, made me stomach rumble so much.

If you look far far far ahead, you can just see what i mean

We're almost out of England

The Scotland borders

I really seem to like taking pictures with rocks nowadays.

Are you convinced now? hahaha

A brief stop at Jedburgh Abbey

LOCATION: EDINBURGH

TIME: 16:30

WEATHER: 14-15 degrees, extremely windy

Went to a place called Preston Fields for a Scottish Dinner. The whole experience was unbelievable. And believe or not, I saw a waitress that looked like Keira Knightley. KEIRA KNIGHTLEY FOR GOD’S SAKE. Didn’t want to take her picture, might distract her. But for the rest of the dinner, well, let the pics tell you for itself.

The welcoming committee, he was lucky the wind wasn't strong. HAHAHA.

The dinner hall, in the stables. I didn't think it was going to be like that. haha.

The bar

Low and behold; the HAGGIS, Scotland's National Dish. What it is, i'm not going to tell you. Didn't taste too bad although some did not like it.

The performers for the night. Couldn't really take some good pictures as they were dancing so fast. I've got some videos that you all may want to see what i return. But here are some of the nicer ones.

Violinist playing along to some country music

The band, seriously

The 3 male singers in their kilts

I can't explain it, but i'm really fascinated by the kilt i think its very cool. I may consider buying one. hehe

The pretty female dancer, no plural. The videos will be clearer.

Came back to the hotel after that wonderful dinner and here I am now blogging this entry. But unfortunately, there isn’t any source of reliable internet so I can only type it first and post it later. I apologise again for not being able to update on a regular basis.

Well, its 12.45am here now, time to sleep. Goodnight!
