Day 5

THE COUNTRY SIDE OF SCOTLAND

Today, we are still going to be in Scotland, but just not in Edinburgh anymore. After breakfast, we made our way towards St Andrews; golf golf golf.

DAY: Tuesday

LOCATION: St Andrews

TIME: 10:30

WEATHER: 10-11 degrees, windy

It’s a B.E.A.U.tiful day; the suns not shining, the birds aren’t singing and it is not hot. That’s the kind of weather I’m sure everyone back home would like; but trust me, it is extremely cold here. well, St Andrews is where many people come to play golf. So not really much to see here besides the golf shops and the beach. That was the same beach where guys in the movie “Chariot of Fire” was filmed.

The view of the little town of Saint Andrews from the beach.

Just keep viewing...

Magnificent view, just keep viewing

I loooovvveee you rocky

Well well, Saint Andrews

Well, here is the beach where the filming of chariots of fire was. Nice cold beach.

The long shot

The "Old Golf Course"

FORE...

Well, you may be wondering what this is. This is the water closet. And it cost me 30 pence. 30 PENCE. BEST 30 PENCE I EVER SPENT. hahaha.

And viola, the admission ticket to the WATER CLOSET.

LOCATION: Pitlochry

TIME: 13:30

WEATHER: 12-13 degrees

Stopped here for a spot of lunch before walking along the streets for a bit of shopping.

Along the way to pitlochry, we saw the site of the ship "discovery" the first ship to the north pole.

Ther she is.

Pitlochry is really a small small town.

erm, no caption for this.

Moving on after lunch, we paid a visit to Blair’s castle. Well, long long history regarding the place; rather intriguing; not that I paid any attention; was just looking around at the remarkable castle.

Its a white castle

Blair; refers to plain land.

And has nothing to do with their ex prime minister Tony Blair.

They so horny, me love you long time.

BOOM.

Hello bessie. Bessie's a cow, a highland cow. Moo for me bessie.

Well well, a country hotel, unbelievable view, unbelievable place. Lets just leave the pictures to do the talking.

The sign of our hotel in Laggen.

Welcome one and all

This is the scenery we are surrounded by. 1st view

3rd view

Enjoying a cup of Tetelys beer

My dinner for the night at Laggen. Wonderful.

And a nice warm cosy fireplace. Perfect.

And this is where they stored the wood.

And the extra wood.

I feel that these past 2 days haven’t really been the most fun of the tour, but really really much more to look forward too. I will be heading to Glasgow, the loch ness lake to see nessie and not forgetting I’m still going to Paris and back to London. Its only 22:30 now, but I have to get up at 5am tomorrow, so till the next entry, goodnight!
