Day 11

IT’S COLD, IT’S SO COLD, IT’S SO COOOOLLLLDDDD

DAY: Monday

LOCATION: Paris

TIME: 11:30

WEATHER: 18-19 degrees, dark and cloudy

A quick look back to yesterday’s trip to the Eiffel Tower and what happened during the rest of the day. It was unbelievably beautiful but more importantly, I felt a little sad. BECAUSE I COULDN’T PUT MY FRENCH TO GOOD USE. ARRRGHHH. HAHAHAHA. And so to take out my frustration, I post a bit of this entry in French. Hahaha. Good luck.

After a good night’s rest at the Transcontinental Hotel, woke up for breakfast which was at a later timing compared to London and the tour. We enjoyed some croissants, ham and yoghurt. And I had to play navigator during our trip in Paris, hahahaha. Some good learning experience for me so next time I know how to get around places. And so we were off to our next stop which was “The Lourve”

And it was at “The Lourve” where I first used a bit of my French.

moi: Bonjour, vous parlez anglais?

homme: *shakes head.*

moi: *sian diao*

Arrgh, you know what, I’ll just forget the French and blog in English. Anyways, “THE LOURVE”

Look, The Lourve is on the right.

Well, i took tons of pictures inside and to put a caption for them all is just madness.

This painting meant so much to me. You see, while i was taking pictures of my meals, this dude actually painted his own meal. How'd you like that.

"My job, is to sit here, and look at paintings." - Mr Bean, from the first movie. If i remember correctly. Well, my job is to protect this paintings. haha.

Cheeky little player on the left, trying to sneak in 2 cards.

There is so much i can say for people born with this zodiac sign. The most amazing people are born with aries. haha. You know i'm biased and so i'm not going to hold back anyone from disagreeing with me.

Hey, there she is. Sitting there and smiling at everyone she sees.

This picture was taken during lunch. Lunch with this kind of view is just lovely isn't it.

PREVIOUSLY ON THE PRISON BREAK SPECIAL:

We gotta get out of here. And so we have. Now its staying out and eluding the authorities thats the challenge....

Dude has come a long way, running from "Red Lion Prison" all the way to Paris.

He sees this as the perfect place to elude the authorities. Many people and funny looking shape building.

And it doesn't disappoint.

But in the interior, its nothing like what he thought it would be.

It turns out it is the perfect place to hide.

But wait, someone already knows. And the authorities has been alerted.

And he receives a note telling him "wall to wall" and "beyond". You'll be save there. So he starts to find a hollow wall.

And he knocks down the wall and sees this statue sitting pretty right in front of him.

So what does beyond mean, he turns the head and it reveals a path. He walks in and the path closes.

He ventures forward more and then soon finds the hidden tunnel...

That takes him to the hidden place.

And although it doesn't seem like much, he is guaranteed to be safe.

After leaving the Lourve, we started making our way to the famous Champs-Elyesees Streetwhere all the high end shopping is. Up and down the whole street, you could see shops that sell very expensive stuff. So the best thing to do was to just walk by and look and admire and keep wishing that I had struck the lottery. Hahahah.

You can see the tower from the street, how cool is that?

Look at the flowers, aren't they just pretty. hehe

I need directions, someone tell me where i am.

This is D.I.Y simulator in an Adidas shop. Lets you create your own design of boot.

Looks like its a really busy place here.

Anelka, you look so goood next to that burger.

Now i know this is a high end shopping area, but to pay that amount...

just to use this? i mean come on.

But anyways, its the arc de thrompe. At least thats how i think its spelt. We didn't manage to reach it cuz it was raining and temperature dropped so much.

By the time we started making our way back it was already dinner time; and while walking back, we passed by a Chinese restaurant. OH YA, one thing i realised is that there were jagas guarding each and every shop along that street. Wearing their little suits and ties, all those "ABNN" do look intimidating. And then you can probably guess what happened next. Dinner were served. Oh how I missed rice, and noodles, and all the Chinese dishes. Until tomorrow when we head to Disney land, this has been day 2 in Paris, and I’m soooo loving it here.
